Tahondan’s View And Rescue Action on September 16 – 17

Under direction of Htoo Foundation’s patron U Tay Za, the foundation arranged Captains SOMKIAT KRATIP and CHATCHAWAL THANTHONG to get Putao townships this morning 10.30 am. These two pilots are veterans and they participated in rescue mission of Ma Dwe ice-mountain accident. Along with them, the B4 helicopter of Advance Aviation, from Thailand was brought to use in rescue mission. Moreover, some international rescue teams which are being connected by Htoo Foundation will arrive in a few days to make search and rescue mission effectively and safely. From Panandin village, the rescue teams which are being led by Htoo Foundation’s patron U Tay Za arrived Tahondan village this morning. They are making search and rescue tasks there more effectively. The search and rescue team from China, Blue Sky had returned Yangon from Putao townships on September 16, 2.30 pm. The participation of the Chinese team, Blue Sky, in the rescue operation was made possible with the help of the Chinese Embassy in Yangon and the China-Myanmar Friendship Association. When the Blue Sky team had arrived Putao townships, the team members discussed with concerned person from Htoo Foundation, the invitation of nature foundation, military and civil associations. After discussion, the Blue Sky rescue team decided to return China and ascend Mt. Hkakabo Razi from side of China because of bad weather and others hardship.
